About Me

Hi! I’m Thomas Ketelaere, a final year Game Development student at Digital Arts & Entertainment with a focus on programming in Unity, custom engines, and Unreal. My passion lies in developing gameplay systems that bring mechanics to life and connect the different elements of a game.

Inspired by titles like Superliminal, I aim to create experiences that challenge players’ perception in clever and engaging ways. After graduation, my goal is to join a studio that values creativity and passion over trends.

I’m currently looking for a game development internship where I can apply my programming experience in C++ or C#, learn from others in the industry, and continue improving as a developer.

Projects

Bake It Till You Make It!

A deliciously chaotic 2-player co-op adventure!

Bomberman

A Bomberman remake, built from scratch using my own game engine.

The Swing State

A party game where you play a strong-opinioned politician trying to sway others and win the election.

Time Chained

You’re a mercenary chained to the past. Conquer the twisted timeline and slay the time-warping master who went mad.

Passion Projects

Beat Shooter

A VR game where you shoot to the beat of your own music and rack up points by taking down robots. Time your shots right because only firing on the beat will make your gun shoot.

Flip Shot

Infiltrate hostile zones where gravity constantly shifts, turning the world upside down. Keep an eye on your ammo because you’ll need to manually check it as you adapt to the changing physics.
